What is an Affiliate Program?
An Affiliate Program is a performance-based marketing agreement between a Website (WorldRefer) and another Website (the Affiliate). If a visitor from your web site becomes a WorldRefer member, we pay you a commission for the net revenue profit they generate. Back to Top

WorldRefer represents specific companies in each of its targeted industries and assumes all responsibilities associated with ensuring that the product and services provided to its customers are consistently of the highest quality possible. I have more than one website. Do I need to complete a separate WorldRefer affiliate account for each one?
No. You may promote WorldRefer on as many of your websites as you want. However, if you want to maintain more than one affiliate account, you are welcome to do this. It is advised you inform management of WorldRefer.com if you have more than one active account to avoid any of your additional accounts from being closed inadvertently. Back to Top

Can I change my User ID after I have joined as an affiliate with WorldRefer.com?
No. For your own protection and for security reasons, your User password cannot be changed once you have completed your online registration. Make sure you select your user name and password carefully when registering and keep it in a safe and secure place if you need it for future reference. Back to Top

Do I need to have a Website to be accepted as an Affiliate?
No. Although most of our affiliates derive their income & success via the Internet, many run lucrative off-line campaigns. Please contact us to discuss additional tools we can offer if are going to do your affiliate work off-line. Back to Top

Is my web site eligible to become an Affiliate?
Most sites will qualify to participate in the program. Anyone may submit an application, but we do reserve the right to refuse membership to a site or revoke a site's membership at any time if we deem that it contains objectionable material or is involved in fraudulent activity. What is WorldRefer.com’s policy on spamming?
WorldRefer.com does not tolerate spamming of any kind by any of our affiliates. If spamming by an affiliate is brought to our attention we will give the affiliate one warning. After the one warning and explanation on spamming has been given to the affiliate and it does not cease, the affiliate will be permanently banned from the program. Back to Top

Where do I get banners and content?
WorldRefer provides all the necessary banners and content you need to promote WorldRefer. Banners and content are updated on a regular basis and can be found in the Admin section of your account. The Marketing materials we feature in the Admin section are updated constantly to help maximize conversion rates & ROI on the traffic you send us. Our systems are set up so you never have to make changes on your site to update WorldRefer marketing material. We updated all marketing materials automatically on our systems. How do I download a banner?
You do not need to download ANY banners! All ads in the WorldRefer affiliate program are hosted and served from our servers. All you need to do is copy the code(s) and paste them in the pages of your website. When you login, your click through code is automatically embedded in the code for each ad. How does the system keep track of my players?
WorldRefer.com employs state-of-the-art technology in our tracking system to ensure you receive credit for 100% of the traffic you send to WorldRefer. Affiliates refer players by using their unique url which is provided in the login area. Through the use of cookies, visitors that click through an affiliate’s unique url (banner, text link, email message etc) to WorldRefer are tracked (your affiliate code) and credit is automatically given to the affiliate for players referred. Back to Top

How do I make sure my click-throughs & Impressions are working properly?
To ensure that clicks and impressions are showing up in your statistics reports, please make sure you copy & paste the exact code that the system provides you with. As a service to our affiliates we host the banners on our servers. This allows us to give you detailed information on clicks and impressions as well as receive the most up-to-date campaign banners from WorldRefer. Will you track, and give me credit for, any non-members that don’t signup on the first click through from my site but, return to WorldRefer later and become a member?
Yes. We are able to track visitors from our affiliate’s websites that don’t signup right away but, return to WorldRefer at a later date & sign-up. We set our protection period for 90 days to cover the first referring affiliate. The technology used to manage this is based on cookies. Back to Top

What is a “Cookie”?
Cookies are a general mechanism which server side connections can use to both store and retrieve information on the client side of the connection. More specifically, they are small data files placed on the computers of visitors to WorldRefer from affiliated websites. These data files contain information WorldRefer use to track and credit its affiliates accurately for the traffic they send us. How much money can I make as a WorldRefer Affiliate?
The amount of money you can make as an Affiliate is based on the volume of potential customers you send to WorldRefer. Other contributing factors are the demographic & psychographic of the traffic you send. Earning potential is limitless and related to your work & skill. Some affiliate can make in excess of $40,000 per month however; a reasonable estimate for an average affiliate would be $2,000 per month. Back to Top

Will you charge me for bonuses you give my customers?
No.  Net Win is defined as customer losses less winnings. You are not charged for bonuses given to your customers. Note - You will be charged if any of your customers produce chargebacks or other bad-debt. If this occurs you will be notified by WorldRefer.com prior to any adjustments being made to your affiliate account. You will be given the opportunity to understand how & when the “chargebacks and/or “bad-debt” took place. Back to Top

Is there a minimum I need to meet in order to receive a check?
Yes, you need to produce a minimum of $150 in commissions or referral fees each period in order to receive a check. If your account does not reach $150, your balance for that period will be carried forward until you reach the minimum requirement. Inquire for more details if this is important to you. Back to Top

What about charge backs/bad debts?
If a customer provides false information, or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, your account will be debited for any commission earned on that transaction. If this occurs you will be notified by WorldRefer.com prior to any adjustments being made to your affiliate account. You will be given the opportunity to understand how & when the “chargebacks and/or “bad-debt” took place. Back to Top

Do negatives balances carry over?
Yes, negative balances will carry over to the next period. Each “period” starts Monday morning & ends Sunday night at approximately 11:59 P.M. (PST). Your figure is at its most accurate position between the hours of 12:00 A.M. and 4:00 A.M. (PST) every Monday. It is not financially feasible to wipe out negative balances at the end of each month and/or period. Back to Top
